Projects
The Scinnovation s.r.o members have intensively worked on research, development, and innovation (R+D+I) projects for more than 30 years. They have a wide range of academic and industrial experience and led multiple National, European, and International projects. we are providing our services and have cooperation worldwide.
Currently, our teams running the following projects:
CURRENT projects
Horizon Europe Project: 2023-2026 (48 months)
Topic: Development of a smart shape-memory sensor for biological pressure monitoring applications",
Acronym: SmartShape
The European Commission (EC) announced the results of the "Smart and multifunctional biomaterials for health innovations (RIA)" TOPIC ID: HORIZON-CL4-2022-RESILIENCE-01-13 that was opened for tenders in October 2021. Out of 100 submitted project proposals, the Commission decided to support only 4 projects and our team of Scinnovation s.r.o. nailed it!
The winning project, "Development of a smart shape-memory sensor for biological pressure monitoring applications", has the acronym SmartShape. The project aims to develop a novel sensor for continuous blood pressure (BP) measurement with high potential in a wide range of medical applications. In particular, SmartShape will address this challenge through the use of shape memory polymers (SMPs), placed under the skin over the radial artery and a bracelet reader that takes continuous BP measurements without the need for patient interactions. Scinnovation s.r.o. leads a work package in SmartShape and is looking forward to a successful collaboration with the Consortium that comprises six countries, including IE, UK, CH, IT, CZ, and NL.
The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA ČR)
Topic: Intelligent system for detecting defects in textiles",
Acronym i-Detective
[28.07.2022, 16:47]
The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA ČR) announced on 28.07.2022 the results of the fourth public competition for the Support of Applied Research, Experimental Development and Innovation (GAMA 2) that was opened for tenderers in March 2022. Out of 33 submitted project proposals, TACR decided to support 7 projects and Scinnovation s.r.o. nailed it!
The winning project, "Intelligent system for detecting defects in textiles", has the acronym i-Detective and offers a solution to the problems associated with human/visual detection for textile products and utilizes an artificially intelligent system capable of detecting and classifying a relatively large number of fabric defects. i-Detective automates the inspection and quality control processes, which will increase their efficiency by removing human error and fatigue, and it will lead to processing advanced structures that generate long-term profitable business. i-Detective will create a comprehensive feasibility study that will analyze the three key elements of market, financial and technological perspectives. The feasibility study will also address the risks that might occur in these three fields and tries to create evidence-based alternatives/ solutions.

Textile exports by the Czech Republic
[12.08.2022, 11:24]
Do you know that textile and clothing exports of the Czech Republic in 2021 were about 5.1 Billion Euros, and 96% of these exports landed in European countries? These exports were not possible without high standards in quality control and defect-free products. Our project i-Detective aims at automating the process of fabric inspection to ensure the quality of textile products and increase their competitiveness.
i-Detective is funded by the Technology Agency in the Czech Republic within its GAMA Program for supporting Applied Research, Experimental Development and Innovation.
Call for Service Providers
[22.08.2022, 09:54]
Scinnovation s.r.o. announces on August 22nd, 2022 its need for experts and service providers who can subcontract the development and the assembly of a mechanical/electronic device for the purpose of research.
Requirements:
The device is intended to have a small size (roughly 50 x 50 x 100 cm3) and will have movable parts that should be resistant to vibrations, especially when the device is placed in an industrial environment with many movements and mechanical impacts. The device should be controlled via software on the computer and the subcontractor should develop the electronic interface with the PC.
Timeframe:
The selected subcontractor is expected to complete and deliver their work within 8 weeks, which might start as early as the first week of October 2022 and finish no later than the first week of December 2022.
Procedure for application:
Scinnovation s.r.o. will receive the offers for this tender until September 16th, 2022 and the selected subcontractor will be informed and the contract will be prepared within two weeks.
Further details:
Interested applicants who have questions about the device can contact us through this form.
